After being stalled, JET STREAM (D.K.Ashish) reared up, flipped backwards and fell inside the gates. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. and was found to have suffered cut injuries on both hips. As such, JET STREAM  was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Also, the Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting with her to race. LIGHTNING THUNDER (App.Prasad) who was in the adjoining stall was also examined by the Club’s V.O. and certified to race.

SENOR HILL (S.Sameer) lost about 2 lengths at the start.

Near 1000 metres, NEON LIGHT (Nirmal Jodha) was hampered for a run as NOVAK (A.Sandesh) shifted in when tightened for room.

Near 800 metres, ORIENTAL MASTI (N.S.Parmar) who raced keen, shifted in and took the running of NEON LIGHT (Nirmal Jodha) who clipped the hind heels of the former and stumbled. Jockey N.S.Parmar has been fined Rs.3,000/-

Jockeys N.S.Parmar (ORIENTAL MASTI) and J.Chinoy (PEZZONOVANTE) reported the loss of their whip near  the Winning Post & 200 metres respectively.

Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been fined Rs.1,000/- for racing his charge ORIENTAL MASTI without the bandages on the hind legs.

After the race, RAMBUTAN, NEON LIGHT and SENOR HILL were found to be sound.  LIGHTNING THUNDER had an abrasion at the left hind coronet, SENOR HILL had a cut injury at the right hind cannon and PEZZONOVANTE had an abrasion at the left hind cannon.
