At the request of Trainer M.Narredu, ACE CHRISTALENI was examined at 0650 hours on 23/08/2013 and found to have suffered abrasion on the left hock and cut injuries on both hind fetlock joints, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

In the process of being stalled, EARTH ORBIT (S.P.Ranjane) reared up and fell backward. The filly was examined by the Club’s V.O. and found to be sore by the right fore leg, as such she was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. ADVANCE TO CONTACT (C.S.Jodha) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainers H.J.Antia and Sangramsinh N.Joshi have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Also, EARTH ORBIT has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

Jockey P.Kamlesh (MYKONOS, dr.11) has been fined Rs.2,000/- for cutting across the field soon after the start and hampering the running of ZARAR (D.A.Naik), who in turn inconvenienced ARCH DUCHESS (Imran Chisty).

Jockey Imran Chisty (ARCH DUCHESS) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to drift outward under the use of the whip in the straight.

The saddle on ARCH DUCHESS slipped back during the race, as such, Trainer Hosidar Daji, who deputized for Trainer Shyam S.Habbu, has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

After the race, SCARLET OF HOPE was found to be sound, but having an abrasion at the left hind coronet. MYKONOS had a cut injury at the left hind fetlock.
