Racing Incidents
Jockey P.Trevor (NATIVE KNIGHT) was observed to have used the whip used in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his third offence with regard to the use of whip, the matter was reported to the Stewards. The Stewards interviewed Jockey P.Trevor and having heard the submissions made by him and having viewed the video recording of the race, decided to suspect his Jockey’s license w.e.f. 17th November, 2013 to 21st November, 2013 for using the whip in excessive of the prescribed limit on his mount NATIVE KNIGHT (permitted to ride work/mock race). After the race, MASEEHA was found to be sore by the left fore leg and also had a cut injury at the left hind bulb of heel and a saddle mark on the right side. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. After the race, NATIVE KNIGHT and OKAVANGO were found to be sound.
