Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer Subhag Singh, PADMAKOSA  was examined at 0845 hours on 05/09/2014 and was observed to be tied up and stiff with swelling on both fore legs and was sore by the left fore leg. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, HOLIDAY DANCER (Amyn Merchant) began awkwardly. REALTY (Dashrath Singh, dr.3) jumped awkwardly inwards and went on to TWO OCEANS (A.Sandeshdr.2) who in turn went on to GOLDEN GLORY (R.Shelar, dr.1).  
 
Jockey D.A.Naik (MIRACLE OF MERCY) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
 
After the race, GOLDEN GLORY was found to be sound, but having an abrasion at the right fore fetlock. REALITY and MIRACLE OF MERCY had lost their right hind plate. HOLIDAY DANCER was found to be sound.
