The Sr.V.O. informed that on arrival at the starting gates, Jockey Dashrath Singh reported that his mount, SAIL PAST is not right and requested it to be examined. On trotting, it was observed that the gelding was sore from the right fore leg. As such, SAIL PAST was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter’s Order. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

Trainer Narendra Lagad along with the Owners of his ward, SAIL PAST, made a representation to the Stewards in connection with the withdrawal of the horse in this race. After hearing the Trainer, Owners and the Jockey, the Stewards directed the Stipendiary Stewards to conduct an enquiry into the same.

After being stalled, ARSENAL (Altaf Sayyed) ducked the front gates leaving the same unserviceable, as such, ARSENAL was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Since the filly had behaved in a similar manner in the past, Trainer Sangramsinh N.Joshi has been asked to take remedial measures and to show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race.

DIA (App.Santosh G.) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Nazak Chenoy has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. 

SECRET OATH (App.G.Amit) was observed to shift in passing the 1000 metres thereby causing interference to BELLA LUNA (App.D.R.Shubham) who was racing on his inside. After questioning App.G.Amit and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined a Rs.1,000/- for failing to maintain a straight course.
