Racing Incidents

On arrival at the start, it was observed that the Kinetic Nose Band of CARRALISA (N. S. Parmar) had come off. The same was fixed and the filly participated in the race.
 
ISINIT (S. G. Prasad) jumped out awkwardly and RED FORT (Kavraj Singh) jumped out slow, losing about 2 lengths at the start.
 
STAR HIGHNESS (Towfeeq R. Shaikh) was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
Approaching 1000 metres, CICITALIA (S. Sunil) shifted in thereby inconveniencing LORD ARAZAN (Yash Narredu).
 
Approaching 600 metres, SEACRETS (App. Parbat Singh) brushed the rails and was unbalanced.
 
Passing 600 metres, CARRALISA (N. S. Parmar) hung out and cut across LORD ARAZAN (Yash Narredu) and thereafter raced on the extreme outside. On questioning, Jockey N. S. Parmar stated that his mount hung out despite his efforts. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
 
Approaching 500 metres, LORD ARAZAN (Yash Narredu) shifted in, due to which AEOLUS MAXIMUS (Bhawani Singh) shied in thereby inconveniencing STAR HIGHNESS (Towfeeq R. Shaikh).
 
Approaching 350 metres, Jockey Suraj Narredu (CRACKLIN’ ROSIE), in an effort to take a gap along the inside, shifted in thereby tightening SEACRETS (App. Parbat Singh) along the rails. Jockey Suraj Narredu has been cautioned.
 
Approaching 200 metres, LORD ARAZAN (Yash Narredu) shifted in and went across CICITALIA (S. Sunil) who had to be steadied Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned.
 
Jockey N. S. Parmar (CARRALISA) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. As the whip was used as a corrective measure, no action has been initiated.
 
An enquiry has been initiated into the riding of Jockey Suraj Narredu on CRACKLIN’ ROSIE and a report will be submitted shortly.
 
After the race, SEACRETS, CICITALIA, LORD ARAZAN and CARRALISA were trotted and found to be sound. CICITALIA had a bruise at the left hind fetlock and CARRALISA had an abrasion at the left fore fetlock.
