After the Declaration stage, Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait informed that he had erroneously declared Jockey N. Rawal on his charge ETERNALINSPIRATION and requested that he be permitted to replace the declared Jockey with Neeraj Rawal. The said change was permitted and Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
 
After being stalled, DEMOCRAT (N. S. Parmar) and RIOT OF COLOURS (Dashrath Singh) played up and got cast underneath their stall. As such, both the horses were withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainers M. K. Jadhav and Narendra Lagad have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
At about 100 metres after the start,  ART DECO (J. Chinoy dr.14) shifted in and cut across the field thereby tightening SHOGUN (Towfeeq R. Shaikh, dr.12), who in turn went on to  POLLYANA (R. Shelar, dr.11) who had to be checked and dropped back. After questioning Jockey J. Chinoy and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
Approaching 600 metres, FURIOSA (M. A. Roushan) shifted out thereby inconveniencing EL TYCOON (Shrikant Kamble) and SHOGUN (Towfeeq R. Shaikh). Jockey M. A. Roushan has been cautioned.
 
Passing 500 metres, EL TYCOON (Shrikant Kamble) who was racing between BENEFICIAL (N. B. Kuldeep) and SHOGUN (Towfeeq R. Shaikh) was tightened for room and dropped back.
 
In the final stages of the race, ETERNALINSPIRATION (Neeraj Rawal) shied inwards thereby inconveniencing SHOGUN (Towfeeq R. Shaikh), who in turn went on to FURIOSA (M. A. Roushan).
 
During the race, Jockey J. Chinoy (ART DECO) was observed to have looked back thrice. After questioning, Jockey J. Chinoy has been cautioned about the same.
 
After the race, ETERNALINSPIRATION and FURIOSA were trotted and found to be sound. SHOGUN had a cut injury at the left hind fetlock.
