Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer Himmat Singh, SANDALPHON was examined at 0830 hours on 09/09/2017 and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
In the process of stalling, AUBURN (N. S. Parmar) brushed the rear gates whereby the saddle girth got unbuckled. Since the equipment was left unserviceable, it was replaced by the Club’s gear and thereafter the filly was examined by the Club’s Sr. V. O. who certified her fit to race.
 
Approaching 1000 metres, IN IT TO WIN IT (A. Imran Khan) shifted out and carried ICE DANCER (P. S. Chouhan) outwards. Jockey A. Imran Khan has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
 
Approaching 500 metres, ICE DANCER (P. S. Chouhan) shifted in thereby tightening IN IT TO WIN IT (A. Imran Khan) who in turn shifted in and brushed the haunches of AUBURN (N. S. Parmar). Jockey P. S. Chouhan has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
