Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer Rehanullah Khan, REDS REVENGE was examined at 1045 hours on 22/09/2017 and was found to be sore by the left fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
On a report from the Sr. V.O. that TOMAHAWK had been accepted to race within 10 days of the gelding having received the Extra Corporeal Shockwave therapy, the gelding was not permitted to run and Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been fined Rs.10,000/- for his lapse.
 
The Sr. V.O. reported that SAMARJEET injured its left fore knee in the Saddling Enclosure, as such the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting with him to race.
 
KOAL (R. Ajinkya) planted in the stall and took no part in the race. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and to show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
Passing the 500 metres, IMPERIAL HERITAGE (App. S. A. Amit) shifted in on to KING OF KILLEN (S. J. Sunil) who in turn shifted in and made contact with DAZZLING EYES (C. S. Jodha) racing along the rails. App. Jockey S. A. Amit has been cautioned.
 
After the race, on questioning, Jockey P. S. Chouhan (TORREZZO) stated that he found his mount in distress.
 
After the race, TORREZZO was trotted and found to be sound.
