The Sr.V.O. reported that after saddling, BUNTING played up in the Saddling Enclosure injuring herself on the right hind cannon, as such, the mare was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the mare from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
 
QUEEN CREDIBLE (Bhawani Singh) jumped out slow losing about 3 lengths at the start.
 
Passing the 800 metres, DOMINATION (App. Aniket Karande) who was racing between STAR COMRADE (App. A. Prakash) and PHILADELPHIA (App. P. Vinod) was tightened for room and had to be steadied.
 
Passing the 700 metres, FINE TUNE (S. J. Sunil) shifted in and went across UNTITLED (App. D. R. Shubham) causing the latter to be checked and drop back, due to which GOLD FIELD (Santosh G.) who was racing on its haunches also had to be checked. After questioning, Jockey S. J. Sunil has been suspended for 25th October, 2019 for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race).
 
After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (TENERIFE) reported that his mount was tentative in the final stages of the race and hence he did not ride her out.
 
Jockey Akshay Kumar (ARC SHINE) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Pune Meeting he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
The Sr.V.O. reported that at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, TENERIFE was scoped at the Equine Hospital after the race and was found to be EIPH (Gr.II).  
 
After the race, TENERIFE was trotted and found to be sound.
