WE MAKE THE RULES (Akshay) refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts,  as such,  the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order.  Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
DRAGONMOSS (Neeraj Rawal) and  SOLO MISSION (App.A.Prakash) jumped out slow losing about 5 lengths each at the start. Trainers Adhirajsingh Jodha and Karthik Ganapathy have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
GOLDEN ECLIPSE (N.S.Parmar) jumped out slow losing about 3 lengths at the start.
 
At the start, SMOKY HAZE (S. S. Baria) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.
 
Soon after the  start, FOREVER FREE (Akshay Gaikwad) shifted in on to HONOURABLE EYES (Kishore Kadam) forcing it inwards thereby tightening NIGHTFALL (App. P. Vinod) causing the latter to be checked and drop back, due which LOVELY FAIRY (Amyn Merchant) was tightened along the rails and had to be checked. Further, approaching the 300 metres FOREVER FREE (Akshay Gaikwad) shifted out under urgings and made contact with LILIBETH (App.K.Nazil). After questioning, Jockey Akshay Gaikwad has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
The Sr.V.O. reported that at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, DIBABA was scoped at the Equine Hospital after the race and was found to be EIPH (Gr.II).  
 
The Equine Hospital reported that GOLDEN ECLIPSE had right eye injury (sore eye, lacrimation).
 
After the race, SANDALPHON and DIBABA were trotted and found to be sound.
