Racing Incidents
Jockey A. Imran Khan (LADY IN STYLE) fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting in soon after the start causing interference to FUSION MUSIC (K. SURESH) and immediately thereafter shifted in again taking the ground of WILLOW BEND (SURAJ NARREDU). Jockey Ravinder Singh (FAIR TOUCH) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts to be well up with the field in future. Explanation of Jockey J.H. Christopher (MAN ON FIRE) that his instruction were to position his mount a close 3rd or 4th and to do his best in the straight, the jockey added that his mount was hanging out very badly throughout the race and in the straight passing 400 metres the colt wobbled and thereafter did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his efforts, noted. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the colt was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides.
