Racing Incidents
AUSTRALIS (N. RAWAL) dwelt and lost 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked. Jockey A. Ramana (WORLD VISION) fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in at about 150 metres causing interference to BASHA (D. SINGH) and GREYHOUND (J. H. CHRISTOPHER). Jockey J.H. Christopher (GREYHOUND) cautioned for shifting out at about 1200 metres in the process forcing out WORLD VISION (A. RAMANA) who in turn shifted out causing check to BASHA (D. SINGH). Explanation of Jockey S.A. De Sousa (LIBERTADOR) that his mount was hanging in, in the final stages of the race whereby he could not offer complete assistance to his mount, noted. Trainer Rafaat Hussain was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance. Jockey G.B. Khade (ROCK BREAKER) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the straight.
