Racing Incidents
Jockey Ravinder Singh (NARWHAL) fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting out soon after the start causing interference to MONTUSH (M.F.ALI KHAN). Trainer M.V. Narayan Rao was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for failing to exercise sufficient care in the saddling of his charge in that the saddle used on PENUMATCHA (SURAJ NARREDU) slipped in the initial stages of the race whereby the Jockey could not ride out his mount to complete advantage. Explanation of Jockey M.F. Ali Khan (MONTUSH) in the presence of Trainer Sk. Kassam that his mount who received interference soon after the start was thereafter not inclined to raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference. Jockey K. Anil (STAR KID) cautioned to exercise greater control over his mounts soon after the start. Jockey J.H. Christopher (GABLES) cautioned to maintain a straight course in the straight. TENTH PLANET (P.
