Racing Incidents
Jockey S. Sreekant (ROYAL DIGNITARY) fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in soon after the start causing interference to HIGH LANDS (APP. NITIN SINGH) and RIPPLES (K. GANESH). Jockey P.S. Chouhan (RED RIVER REBEL) fined Rs. 3,000/- for shifting in at about 1000 metres in the process causing interference to IVORY SNOW (J.H. CHRISTOPHER) and shift in at about 800 metres causing interference to MIZZNA (HARISH) and HARDCCORE (D. GNANESHWAR). Explanation of Mr. D. Netto, the Trainer of SPLENDID SCOT (N.M. SEQUEIRA) the winner of this race that his charge had run in his previous start after being gelded and that his instructions were similar in both engagements i.e., to go to the front and in the present engagement his charge had come on the previous run and had gone onto win, noted. Trainer D. Netto was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.
