Racing Incidents
There was a heavy shower just before the start of this race which was continued throughout the race. Consequent to the above all the Jockeys having weighed in 0.5 kgs., to 1 kg., in excess of the weight at which they had weighed out, the Stewards having considered that the excess weight was caused due to rain directed that all clear flag be hoisted. Change of rider permitted from Jockey J.H. Christopher to Jockey Harish on BAKERSFIELD. HIGH LANDS (K. ANIL) took an awkward jump towards outside and then tried to run out thereby losing about 2 to 3 lengths.
