Racing Incidents
Consequent to Jockeys Sk. Farookh and J.H. Christopher being declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockeys R. Laxmikanth and D. Singh to be substituted on VENTUROUS and TOP ACT respectively. ROYAL GUARD (P.S. CHOUHAN) refused to be stalled inspite of all efforts was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders. SSC revoked. The Stewards severely cautioned Trainer D. Netto for the improved performance of his charge VENTUROUS (R. LAXMIKANTH) the winner of this race as compared to her previous start where she ran off board.
