Racing Incidents
An enquiry has been opened into inconsistent running of CANNON HUNT (APP. NITIN SINGH) the winner of this race trained by Mr. M.V. Narayana Rao. Explanation of Jockey A. Ramana (TASTE OF INDIA) that his instructions were to sit off the pace until 800 metres and then improve and to do his best in the straight. The Jockey further stated that his mount did not respond to his urgings in the straight inspite of his best efforts. Trainer K.V. Srinivas whilst confirming the Jockeys statement stated that he was baffled with his charge’s dismal performance. Both Jockey A. Ramana and Trainer K.V. Srinivas’s explanations were noted for future reference.
