Racing Incidents
Explanation of Jockey T.S. Jodha (KOHINOOR DELIGHT) that his instructions were to sit 3rd , 4th or 5th and to do his best in the straight which he could carry out but in the straight his filly did not respond to his urgings inspite of his efforts, noted. Jockey A. Imran Khan (PROVISO) fined Rs. 1,000/- for using the whip with excessive frequency. Explanation of Jockey Daniel Grant (SPARKS) that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race and at about the 600 metres held the bit and suddenly veered out clipping the heels of VIJAYSIDDANTH (Harish) and getting unbalanced and dislodging him, was accepted.
