Racing Incidents
DANCING FAIRY (M. KRISHNA) dwelt and lost a distance at the start. SSC revoked. App. Nitin Singh (SMRITHIMAN) cautioned for shifting in 100 metres after the start causing a check to CHIMNEY (R.B. SHINDE) Jockey Arvind Joshi (MAYFAIR GIRL) cautioned for veering out passing 400 metres for no apparent reason. Jockey R. Laxmikanth (DESIGNER) cautioned veering in passing 400 metres in the process forcing in DANCING FAIRY (M. KRISHNA). Explanation of Jockey N.M. Sequeira (PAVAROTTI) that his mount was hanging in very badly in the last 200 metres due to which he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage, noted. Subsequent examination revealed that the gelding lost his left fore shoes during the race. Trainer D. Netto was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance. The Stewards suspended App. Nitin Singh (SMRITHIMAN) from riding in races with effect from 1st August, 2009 to 3rd August, 2009 both days inclusive for failing to persevere with his mount in the final stages of the ra
