Racing Incidents
Jockey Laxman (BELLA COOLA) cautioned for shifting in soon after the start taking the ground of GLOBAL PRESENCE (HARISH). Explanation of Mr. K.V.Srinivas, the Trainer of WALK IN THE PARK (A. RAMANA) the winner of this race as compared to the horse’s previous starts where she ran off board that his charge in her previous runs i.e., in Race No. 40 & 48 ran in a terms race with superior company and in race No. 97, a handicap race, his charge was chased by RAJ VEER throughout the race whereby the mare had been used up before entering the straight resulting in WALK IN THE PARK shortening her strides in the final furlong as compared to the current engagement where the Jockey had no problem in making the running and the shorter distance today had been to the mare’s advantage as such she had gone onto win, noted. Trainer K.V.Srinivas was however advised to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future.
