Racing Incidents
Explanation of Trainer Faiyaz Shaikh re: improved performance of his charge CYGNET (SK.FAROOKH) the winner of this race that his charge had run in race No. 6 during the current winter season for horses 3 years old & upwards after a long lay off of about 1 ½ months as she was treated for the knee and was up there till the last 400 metres eventually finishing 8th as compared to the present engagement which is for horses 4 years & upwards and that his charge had relished the under foot condition as such had gone onto win. The Trainer further stated that he had no further explanation to offer with regard to the improved performance of his charge, noted. He was however cautioned to ensure that his charges raced more consistently in future, failing which he would be liable to disciplinary action.
