Racing Incidents
App. Nitin Singh (GLORIOUS BAY) fined Rs. 3,000/- for maintaining an erratic course in the initial stages of the race in the process shifting out and forcing out TRUE FORCE (SK. FAROOKH) at the 1000 metres and again shift out passing 400 metres causing interference to GREEK FIRE (M. MARK) and MAYFAIR GIRL (R. RUPESH). Explanation of Jockey S. Shoban Babu (ENGLISH INDIAN) that due to the fast initial pace he was forced to scrub his mount in the initial stages of the race in order to follow the instructions of going to the front, however, the gelding was tired and shortened his strides from about the 350 metres and dropped back inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer M. Satyanarayana and noted for future reference.
