Racing Incidents
Explanation of Jockey P.A. Culhane (ROSE QUEEN) that his mount hit the front gates before jumping out injuring herself and then she was hesitant to raise a fluent gallop soon after the start due to which he was unable to position his mount well up with the front runners in the initial stages of the race and thereafter in the straight she was gradually gaining ground, noted. Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that the horse was trotting sound but had sharp molars on both sides.
