Explanation of Jockey A. Ramana (KING IN THE SKY) that his instructions were to position his mount 3^rd or 4^th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter the gelding did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts finishing the course a distance behind, noted. Trainer K.V. Srinivas was advised to ensure that his charge raced more consistently in future.

An objection lodged by Jockey N. Ravinder Singh (MERRY MAID) placed 4^th by the Judge against Jockey Nitin Singh (RENUKAS PRIDE) placed 2^nd by the Judge was upheld by the Stewards and ordered revised placings as under:

The Stewards suspended Jockey Nitin Singh (RENUKAS PRIDE) from riding in races with effect from 19^th to 23^rd January, 2012 both days inclusive for careless riding. Permitted to ride work.
