Racing Incidents

NANO TRIBUTE (C. HENRIQUE) refused to be stalled inspite of all efforts was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starters Orders.  SSC revoked.

Jockey A. Ramana (GOLDEN STAR) fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting in at about the 800 metres causing interference to GOLDEN ESTELITA (CH K CHARY).

Jockey R. Laxmikanth (DARTOS THE MUSCLE) fined Rs. 1,000/- shifting in at about the 600 metres causing interference  to GOLDEN STAR (A. RAMANA).

Explanation of Jockey Arvind Joshi (MAXIMUM RESPONSE) that his instructions were to go to the front or sit a close 2nd or 3rd which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort his mount did not show any acceleration as such decided not to punish the gelding in the final stages of the race was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded to make greater efforts to follow instructions and for dropping his hands before passing the winning post though on a beaten horse.
