Racing Incidents

Change of rider permitted from App. A.K. Pawar to App. P. Sai Kumar on PHENOMENAL SPEED.

Passing 400 metres TRUE DIAMOND (KHURSHAD ALAM) stumbled and fell in the process unseating Jockey Khurshad Alam. Jockey Khurshad Alam who was given immediate medical assistance was shifted to the hospital for further medical investigation.  TRUE DIAMOND who suffered fracture of both fore was in agony as such the gelding was put to sleep on humane grounds.

The saddle used on SMASHING BEAUTY (CH K CHARY) slipped during the race.  Asst. Trainer Waseem Ahmed Shaikh, deputizing for Trainer Sk. Kassam was cautioned to exercise greater care in the saddling of his charges in future.

FLOWERS OF MUSIC (A. RAMANA) returned bleeding from both  nostrils.
