Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey R. Laxmikant (A HORIZONTAL URGE) being dislodged from his mount on the way to the starting gates and subsequently being declared medically unfit to ride, A HORIZONTAL URGE was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.

Explanation of Jockey A. Imran Khan (RISE OF EMERALD) that his instructions were to go to the front but as his mount ducked in soon after the start and thereafter was reluctant to raise a fluent gallop inspite of his efforts as such he was unable to follow the given instructions, noted.

Explanation of Jockey N. Ravinder Singh (THE HIMALAYAS) that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race was not accepted, and he was severely reprimanded for tender handling of his mount for the  greater part of the race.

Jockey Deep Shanker ( AUGUST KRANTI) cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.
