Racing Incidents

AUGUST KRANT (App. S.S. Tanwar) jumped out slowly, losing about 2- 3 lengths

SHADOW IN THE MIST (Ch.K. Chary) trailed the field throughout the race.  Trainer Zoheb Shaikh was advised for a mock race before next accepting in a race.

STAR STRIKER (Deep Shanker) dropped back from about the 400 mtrs, finishing the course a distance behind.  Trainer K. Satheesh was advised for a better performance before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey S. John (FAIRY EMPEROR) in the presence of trainer S.S.F. Hassan that his instructions were to position his mount close up with the field until entering the straight and to do his best in the straight.  The Jockey added that his charge was slow in to stride soon after the start and thereafter did not show any interest in the race inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer S.S.F. Hassan while confirming the above opined that his charge might not have relished the underfoot conditions as he had run in a similar fashion in his previous run.  Both the Jockey’s and Trainer’s explanations were noted for future reference.
