Racing Incidents

ROYAL CRAFT (Ch. K. Chary) jumped out slowly losing about 4 to 5 lengths. SSC revoked.

Explanation of Jockey N. Rawal (STRIDES OF GLORY) that his instructions were to sit close 3rd or 4th which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort in the straight, the filly did not show any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju while confirming the above added that his charge was running after a long lay off due to a set back.  The trainer further added that he had not fancied the filly but had given it a chance.  Both the Jockey and Trainer’s explanations were noted for future reference.
