Racing Incidents

Explanation of Jockey A.K. Pawar (RAHUL’S DIAMOND) that his instructions were to sit 3rd 4th, which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter the gelding did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer R.H. Sequeira while confirming the above added that he had no plausible explanation to offer with regard to the poor performance of his charge RAHUL’S DIAMOND, noted for future reference. 

Jockey A.K. Pawar (RAHUL’S DIAMOND) was fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting in at about the 200 mtrs in the process causing interference to SHIMMERING ICE (Deep Shanker).

App. G. Naresh (MARQUISE) was cautioned for shifting out at about the 800 mtrs in the process forcing out SHIMMERING ICE (Deep Shanker).

Jockey J. Vikas (IN REALITY) severely reprimanded for traveling wide for the greater part of the race for no apparent reason.
