Racing Incidents

Explanation of Jockey Deep Shanker (FLAMBOYANT STAR) that he could not position his mount 4th or 5th in the initial stages of race, as he was denied a clear run and thereafter his running was hampered at about the 400 mtrs due to RIO ROJO (N. Rawal) racing on his outside shifting in, noted.

The Stewards suspended Jockey N. Rawal (RIO ROJO) from riding in races w.e.f 19th to 30th December 2013 both days inclusive for unsatisfactory riding in that he failed to follow the given instructions in the initial stages of the race.

Jockey N. Rawal was however permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
