Consequent to Jockey P. Uday Kiran having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Harinder Singh to be substituted on IN REALITY.

THE HIMALAYAS (J. Vikas) maintained an erratic course in the initial stages of the race in the process causing interference to SANJAA (Ch.K Chary) at the about the 1200 mtrs and thereafter was trying to run out until entering in to the straight.  Jockey J. Vikas was cautioned to exercise greater control over his mount in future.  Trainer Anupam Sharma was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Jockey Ch. K. Chary (SANJAA) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with field.

Explanation of Jockey N. Ravinder Singh (CITI SUPREME) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer S.S.F. Hassan.  Both Jockey and Trainers explanations were noted for future reference.  

Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (HOMETOWN HERO) that his instructions were to sit 4, 5^th and not to use up the gelding in the early part of the race, which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter the gelding ran on to finish close 2^nd inspite of his best efforts.  While confirming the above, trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju added that the gelding had ran to his potential was noted.
