Racing Incidents

CORNWALLIS (Beuzelin Louis) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Jockey K. Anil (BOUNCER) was fined for shifting in at about the 1100 mtrs causing interference to WESTERN EXPRESS (Kuldeep Sing).

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (PANACHECORN) was fined for shifting in whilst negotiating the final bend causing interference to BAASHAGAR (A.M. Tograllu).

Explanation of Jockey C. Henrique (LOPAMUDRA) that his mount was trying to run out for the greater part of the race, in the process veered out in the final 300 mtrs inspite of his best efforts, noted.  Trainer Anupam Sharma was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Jockey C. Henrique (LOPAMUDRA) was fined for excessive and improper use of the whip (2nd offence). 

The Stewards suspended Jockey Dashrath Singh (GRENADIER) from riding in races w.e.f. 2nd to 6th January 2014 both days inclusive for careless riding in that he made no efforts to prevent his mount from shifting in at about the 800 mtrs in the process causing interference to LOPAMUDRA (C. Henrique).
