Racing Incidents

Consequent to App. S.S. Tanwar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted App. Ajit Singh to be substituted on STYLISH CHIEFTAN.

SYMBOL OF BEAUTY (C. Henrique) tried to run out soon after the start in the process lost considerable ground.  Trainer Anupam Sharma was advised to show his charge at the gates twice to the satisfaction of Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.

SARVAGNYA (N. Ravinder Singh) trailed the field throughout the race. Trainer Anupam Sharma was advised for a better performance before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey M. Mark (FLOWER DRUM) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer S.S.F. Hassan and noted for future reference.

Jockey Kuldeep Singh (SILVER CRUISE) was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in at about the 300 mtrs bumping and causing interference to ARUDRA (S. Sreekant).

STYLISH CHIEFTAN (App. Ajit Singh) returned bleeding from both nostrils.

The Stewards suspended Jockey C. Henrique (SYMBOL OF BEAUTY) from riding in races w.e.f. 8th to 11th January 2014 both days inclusive for improper riding.

Jockey C. Henrique is however permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
