Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey M. Mark having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey A.M. Tograllu to be substituted on SUGAR DEAL.

Jockey Nitin Singh (CHAYANANDAN) was fined Rs.2,000/-  for shifting in soon after the start in the process causing interference to ARUDRA (S. Sreekant) and SUGAR DEAL (A.M. Tograllu),  and also for failing to ride out his mount past the post.

Explanation of Jockey K. Anil (SPORTING STAR) that his mount was hanging in, in the straight more so under pressure due to which he was unable to ride out his mount on an even keel noted.   Trainer K. Satheesh was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey A.M. Tograllu (SUGAR DEAL) that his mount after receiving interference soon after the start did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer S.S.F. Hassan, noted for future reference.
