Racing Incidents

DARK AVENGER (App. Praveen Kumar) trailed the field throughout the race.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was trotting lame on his left hind due to back sprain.

NANO STORM (N. Ravinder Singh) trailed the field throughout the race.  Trainer Ananta Vatsalya was advised to ensure that his charge is capable of running with the field in future.

SPEED STRIKER (Nitin Singh) was pulled up from about the 600 mtrs in the process moved out, forcing out BIG BOSS (Ajit Kumar) and thereafter the Jockey dismounted at about the 400 mtrs.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding returned lame on his left hind due to severe fetlock joint sprain.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (YET AGAIN) that his mount was lugging in, in the final stages of the race as such he was unable to ride out his mount on an even keel was not accepted and Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar was fined for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final stages of the race.

An objection lodged by Jockey Imran Chisty (SWEETY GIRL) placed 2nd by the judge against Jockey Suraj Narredu (ICE LOLLY) the winner that “ when my horse was full of running, the winner who was traveling five horses wide kept coming on to me from about the 400 mtrs when I was already in between the horses and I had to stop my riding and pull out and came with a rerun, that cost me a certain race”, was overruled by the Stewards and the judges placings remaining unaltered.
