Racing Incidents

MR GLORIOUS (P. Venkat) and WHATS UP (N. Ravinder Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 3 to 4 lengths, SSCs revoked.

Jockey Kiran Naidu (EMERALD REEF) was fined for shifting in 100 mtrs after the start crowding the runners drawn on his inside resulting in interference to LIPS LOCKING (P. Ajeeth Kumar).  The Jockey was further cautioned for drifting out in the straight finishing the course on the outer track for no apparent reason.

Explanation of App. Md. Sameeruddin (DANDELION) that his mount maintained an erratic course in the straight in the process shifted in causing interference to WINDS AND WAVES (Kuldeep Singh) noted.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was trotting lame on his right hind due to severe back sprain.

Explanation of Jockey N. Rawal (FIELD COMMANDER) that his mount was hanging in, in the final stages of the race, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage was not accepted and he was fined for tender handling of his mount in the final stages of the race.  Further, the Jockey was severely cautioned to ensure that similar lapses does not occur in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action.
