Racing Incidents

KOHINOOR GRACE (K. Anil) swerved out soon after the start in the process dropped the rider.  The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid escaped unhurt.  Trainer A. Vatsalya was advised to show his charge in a Mock Race to the satisfaction of Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.

ALASTOR  (S. Sreekant) and GAYLE FORCE (N. Rawal) jumped out slowly losing about 2 to 3 lengths each.

ALASTOR (S. Sreekant) and SENSUAL GIFT (App. Abhishek S. Pawar) trailed the field throughout the race.  Respective trainers Shamsuddin and M.V. Narayana Rao were advised for a better performance in future.

NOBLE HEIGHTS (P. Sai Kumar) was slow into stride losing about 2 to 3 lengths.

Explanation of Jockey C.S. Jodha (SYMBOL OF CHOICE) that his mount veered out in the final 300 mtrs, in the process forced out ANGELINA (Arvind Joshi) inspite of his best efforts in the process finished the course on the outer rails was noted.  Trainer Anupam Sharma was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

An objection lodged by Jockey Arvind Joshi, the rider of ANGELINA, placed 2nd by the judge against Jockey C.S. Jodha (SYMBOL OF CHOICE) winner, that “ he took me out at about the 300 mtrs and again at final 50 mtrs thereby I had to check my mount and forced to shift in and the filly came with a re-run and that cost me a certain race” was upheld by the Stewards and ordered revised placings as under:
