Racing Incidents

Explanation of App. Akshay Kumar (KHOSHGEL) re: his instructions to which he stated that in order to follow the given instructions of positioning his mount off the pace, he was forced to check his mount soon after the jump out and thereafter his mount was trying to run out in the straight was not accepted and the App. was severely reprimanded for breaking the strides of his mount in the initial stages of the race and also for travelling wide in the straight for no apparent reason.

Trainer Anupam Sharma was fined Rs.5000/- for the inconsistent running of his charge FAIRY EMPEROR (J. H. Christopher) the winner of this race, who ran off board in his previous outing. The trainer was further cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for disciplinary action as deemed fit.
