Racing Incidents

Consequent to App K. Mukesh Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey J.H. Christopher to be substituted on BRAHMANI.

RUSTIC GAL (N. Ravinder Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 3 to 4 lengths, SSC revoked.

MY STAR (App. Akshay Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.  Trainer S.S.F. Hassan was advised to show his charge at the gates to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.

Jockey J.H. Christopher (BRAHMANI) was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting in at about the 800 mtrs causing interference to OCEAN SIDE (Kuldeep Singh) and CARLTON (P. Trevor).  The Jockey was further cautioned in the presence of Trainer Anupam Sharma to make more determined efforts to follow the given instructions.

Explanation of Jockey P. Trevor (CARLTON) in the presence of trainer S.A. Shehzad Abbas that that his instructions were to position 4th /5th and to do his best in the straight but due to the interference caused to him at about the 800 mtrs he dropped back and thereafter he was blocked for an opening in the straight until the final 200 mtrs due to a wall of horses racing in front, noted for future reference.
