Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey P. Sai Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey N. Rawal to be substituted on ASTON DOULTON.
 
ITALIAN CYPRESS (App. Akshay Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 3 or 4 lengths, SSC revoked.
 
Jockeys P. Ajeeth Kumar (AWARE) and C. Henrique (MILITARY BELLE) were cautioned for shifting out and in respectively immediately after the start in the process crowding the runners drawn in between.  
 
App. Deepak Singh (FRUIT ROLL UP) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the straight.  
 
Explanation of Jockey C. Henrique (MILITARY BELLE) in the presence of Trainer Anupam Sharma that his instructions were to sit close 3rd and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage as his mount was lugging in, in the final stages of the race, was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded and informed that he was given benefit of their grave doubt  in this instance with regard to handling of his mount in the straight.
