Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey A.M. Tograllu having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted App. K. Mukesh Kumar to be substituted on ACCELERATOR.
 
Explanation of Jockey A. Imran Khan (STRENGTHANDBEAUTY) in the presence of Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju that his instructions were to position his mount close 4th/5th and to pull her out and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter he could not take her out due to horses racing on his outside and was also blocked for an opening due to the runners racing in front, and thereafter the filly did not raise a fluent gallop in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.
 
PICTURE PERFECT (App. G. Naresh) dropped back from about 400 mtrs whilst travelling with the front runners and finished the course distance behind.  Trainer D. Netto was advised to ensure that his charge is capable of a better performance in future.
