Consequent to App. K. Mukesh Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar to be substituted on PRINCESS HINA.
 
Explanation of Jockey A. Imran Khan (NET CHAMP) that his instructions were to position his mount close with the front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for effort, the gelding dropped back in the final 300 mtrs inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer D. Netto while confirming the above, added that his charge was treated for tendon problem immediately after the last race i.e. Race No.55 and therefore he has run his charge in the present race after a long gap of about 2 ½ months as such the gelding has not run to his potential.  Both the Jockey and Trainers explanation were noted for future reference.
 
An objection lodged by App. G. Naresh (GANGADHAR) placed 2nd against Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (PRINCESS HINA) the winner that " he bumped me in the final 250 mtrs due to which I could not ride out my mount and momentum of my horse was lost which resulted in not winning the race, was overruled by the Stewards and judges placings remaining unaltered.
 
App. S.S. Tanwar (BRILLIANT TWIST) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course at about the 150 mtrs.
 
Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (PRINCESS HINA) was fined for shifting in at about the 100 mtrs in the process forcing in GANGADHAR (App. G. Naresh).
