Racing Incidents

The Stewards of the Club suspended Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar (DOLCE) from riding in races w.e.f. 1st September to 20th September 2016 both days inclusive for unsatisfactory riding in that he failed to ride out his mount from about the 400 mtrs as instructed by his Trainer, instead he waited until about the 250 mtrs and started riding out only after the other horse came next to him, thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage in the final stages of the race under Rule 161 (ii) of HRC Rules of Racing.
 
The Jockey is however, permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.
 
FENWAY COURT (App. C.S. Vikrant) returned lame on left fore due to tendon strain.
