Racing Incidents

AAKASH VANI (App. Mukesh Kumar) was examined at the Starting gates and was found to be trotting lame on left fore, as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.
 
Explanation of Jockey Beuzelin Louis (PRECIOSA) that his mount jumped out awkwardly and lost about a length and thereafter tried to run out at about 1100mts inspite of his best efforts in the process causing inconvenience to DANCING LEAF (Kuldeep Singh) and PATRON SAINT (Aneel) racing on his outside, noted. Trainer D. Netto was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.
 
Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh (DANCING LEAF) in the presence of Trainer L.D' Silva that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th and do his best in the straight which he could not follow, as he was denied a clear run at about 1100mts and thereafter he has done his best in the straight was noted for future reference.  Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly was trotting lame on right fore due to tendon strain.
 
App Akshay Kumar (PAPRIKA ) was cautioned for maintaining an erratic course in the initial stages of the race.
