Consequent to QUEEN OF THE STARS (Kuldeep Singh) having won a race on 18-12-2016 and as per clause (4) of the General conditions of prospectus of Hyderabad Winter Races 2016-17, is not eligible to run today, as such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn.
 
Explanation of App. Mukesh Kumar (WESTERN WIND) that his instructions were to sit close 3rd/4th and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow to the best of his ability but he accidently lost his whip in the final 100 mtrs of the race when he tried to use it on his mount was not accepted and the App. was severely reprimanded for losing his whip at a crucial stage of the race, informed him that he was given benefit of their grave doubt with regard to this incidence and cautioned to ensure that similar lapses do not occur in future failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
 
Explanation fo App. Akshay Kumar (GREEK STAR) that his mount shied & ducked out at about the 1100 mtrs and again at 1000 mtrs catching him unaware seeing the shadows on the track noted.  Trainer Sk. Waseem Ahmed was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
 
App. A.A. Vikrant (CAROLINA MOON) was cautioned for improper use of whip.
 
CAROLINA MOON (App. A.A. Vikrant) sustained deep cut injury over right hind point of heck.  However, the filly was trotting sound.
