Explanation of App.  Akshay Kumar (MASTI) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight, but his mount did not raise a fluent gallop in the initial stages of the race and did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh while confirming the above added that he has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges poor performance, noted for future reference.
 
Trainer R.H. Sequeira was questioned with regard to running of his charge RUBYONRAILS (App. Koushik) placed 5th in this race, who won the race in her previous outing to which the Trainer stated that his instructions to the App. was to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight but due to fast initial pace and drawn 10, the App. could not position his mount as instructed and was also forced to travel wide until entering into straight and the mare was only gaining ground in the straight finishing close 5th was noted for future reference.
 
TRUE PEARL (Khurshad Alam) trailed the field for greater part of the race.  Trainer M. Satyanarayana was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.
