Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey Y.S. Srinath having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted App. N.S. Rathore to be substituted on ETERNAL ANGEL.
 
Jockey Kiran Naidu (ROMA RIO) reported loss of whip 100 mtrs after the start.
 
App. Akshay Kumar (RUTILANT) was fined for shifting in at about the 1100 mtrs when he was not sufficiently clear of the runners racing on his inside.
 
Explanation of Jockey Aneel (STAR GAZER) that his mount was keen and in trying to settle and to avoid clipping the front runner he shifted out at about 900 mtrs resulting in interference to ESCOBAR (Beuzelin Louis) and YOU CAN I CAN (S. Sreekant) was not accepted and he was fined for failing to hold his ground.
 
PROUD N ARROGANT (P. Sai Kumar), SAN VINTO (Kuldeep Singh) and ROMA RIO (Kiran Naidu) trailed the field for greater part of the race.  Respective Trainers R.H. Sequeira, L.D' Silva and K.R.K. Raju were advised for a better performance in future.
