Consequent to Jockey G. Naresh having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Md. Sameeruddin to be substituted on PENTAGON.
 
BLUE EYED BABE (P. Ajeeth Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 3 or 4 lengths, SSC revoked.
 
Jockeys Kuldeep Singh (VALLEE SCEPTRE) and P. Sai Kumar (CELTIC QUEEN) were severely reprimanded for failing to improve their position in the initial stages of the race.
